Movie tie-in games are often really bad sometimes though they're distinctly average! Rushed development and corporate interference mean that sort-of-okay is usually the best you can hope for. But the games in this list broke the chain with the odds stacked against them, they entered up being awesome!
I'm Emile Cole and this is GINX Esports TV's list of the top ten movie tie-in games. Let's get going! If any genre is gonna be gamified lazily, superhero films are probably the most likely http://travelgearforwomen.com/learn-how-the-pro-plays-video-poker/. Superheroes are such popular figures that in theory any old tack could sell if Wolverines face and claws were slapped on its front cover. So huge credit has to go to Raven software who went above and beyond with their 2009 X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The game was something of a guilty pleasure. Sure, it was somewhat uneven and the gameplay was a tad repetitive, but slashing your enemies to pieces of a pair of adamantium claws was jolly good fun it will never be named the best game in the world but the developers managed to craft a decent title with no room for error. One way or another the game had to release on May 1st, that's the same day as the film. Those are some really tight deadlines, so props to those guys Do not adjust your sets, Tron 2.0 really did look this trippy. Just look at it. "All the colors of the bow duuude!" In Tron 2.0 you can take Tron's iconic light cycles for a spin against AI opponents but the meat of the game was on foot. The PC you've somehow entered up trapped inside has gone rogue and only you can oppose the personified computer components that now roam within. Weirdest of all though with these humanoid techno nightmares. They were supposedly on your side but to be honest I do not trust them. Something about a human face stitched half-heartedly onto metal just makes me deeply uncomfortable, you know, is that just me? Still, Tron 2.0 was heralded as one of 2003's best shooters and its unique art design means its graphics still hold up to this day. I still don't trust Little Miss Microsoft over here though, she can go away (please someone make her go away) Spoilers: Mufasa dies. You hear that kids? Simba's dad gets murdered! By his own brother! Disney's Lion King taught an entire generation of happy-clappy kiddos that life's actually really really hard and you know what's even more difficult? This video game. Released in '94, The Lion King was from the Golden Age of single-player where games didn't just refuse to hold your hand, they pushed you to the floor, kicked mud at your face and then stole the lunch money from your trembling fingers. Despite all that, The Lion King was very well reviewed Why? Because unlike real life, while the game was hard, at least it was fair. The difficulty ramps up linearly. It was tough, but never frustrating and that's why the Lion King gets a very well-deserved number 8 on our list Perhaps we got a tad too cynical with the Lion King, so let's bring back a little bit of feel good with Buzz, Woody and their gang of plastic pals. 1999's Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue tasked you with saving Woody from a series of increasingly mean bad guys including the evil Emperor Zurg. As a player, it really felt like you'd been transported straight into the Toy Story universe. You journeyed from Andy's bedroom out to his back garden, all the way to Al's Toy Barn, and then even further out than that. After each level you'd be greeted with a genuine clip from the film in lieu of a pre-rendered cutscene. The game did all it could to make you part of that team joining them on a journey headfirst into danger trying to save your friend. To many of you Pixar's Toy Story will be steeped in nostalgia. A rushed, cash grab video game port risks tainting the series, but Traveller's Tales game was well-made enough but it somehow made us full even more in love with these timeless characters In honor of the incredible length of the title of the official game of the 2005 King Kong film remake which has the full name, Peter Jackson’s King Kong: the Official Game of the Movie, we're gonna make sure that every sentence in this section is as long as it possibly can be. You might be wondering why we’d do that, and the answer is that for no apparent reason, the idea crossed our minds, and then we couldn’t really say no, could we?

That would make a whole lot of sense. They're probably, I think they have a couple billion dollars worth of funds, Puerto Rico does, to rebuild these things, and so hopefully that's going to Tesla to help them build kind of like microgrids, and just a more resilient system. Yeah, but then Puerto Rico would need basically to, I think it was just for one day, one full day, a five gigawatt hour system, or 4,878 megawatts. And I got that data from one of the government websites that showed how much energy they consume and all those kind of things. And I think it was the energy administration in the US. So, super interesting stuff.
Now if you can imagine, if they actually do this, or when they actually do this, because we know this is the trajectory, this is gonna be a huge boon for Tesla. It's gonna be something that is gonna be huge financially, and it's gonna help us really accelerate that transition. So, really, really, great stuff. Okay, we need to move on, the next one was another question I got a lot and I thought this was fascinating as well https://www.casinoslots.co.nz/free-spins-bonus. This was whether or not the super charger network would be open to other manufacturers. And so, here is Elon kind of clarifying that for everybody. - [Moderator] Thank you our next-- - [Elon Musk] Well keep going, I'll answer quick questions while they're interesting. - [Galileo] Yeah, I have a couple more. For the super chargers, I know you guys are not trying to prop it off of Tesla owners with that infrastructure but, will you ever open that up to other automakers to try and generate revenue from that system? - [Elon Musk] We always said that this is not intended to be we are happy to support other auto makers and let them use our super charger stations. They would just need to pay, you know show the costs proportionally to their vehicle usage. And they would need to be able to accept our charge rate, or at least our connectors, have adaptors for our connector. So, it's something we're very open to. But so far, none of the car makers have wanted to do this. But it's not because of opposition from us. This is not a walled garden, trying to make a moat bullshit. - [Galileo] Okay maybe you could clarify what's the strategy, like it seems like that would be a very strong network you guys have been building globally for years, so why open it up and why is that not a moat? - [Elon] Sorry, could you repeat the question? - [Galileo] I'm just wondering why that isn't a moat, because, you know, as a long term investor, I feel like the charging infrastructure you guys have built would take years and millions of dollars for another brand to replicate, so I'm just curious about the strategic thinking behind opening that up versus keeping it closed. - [Elon] First of all, I think moats are like nice in a sort of quaint, residual way. But like, if your only defense against invading armies is a moat, you will not last long. What matters is the pace of innovation. That is the final determinate of competitiveness. And for any given company, if the rate of innovation, let's say they come out with something new every six years. We're maybe every two to three years. So if our innovation is, let's say twice that of any given competitor, then it is simply, and this is true generally, of companies, in any industry, whichever company has the highest rate of innovation, unless that company is actively killed by competitors in some way that is nefarious, or shoots itself in the foot, it will at some point exceed those competitors. So, it's difficult to imagine that. We just cannot fit the Model Y production at Freemont. We're jammed to the gills here, so one thing I'm sure it's not here.
It is crazy packed. We'll probably figure out what the optimal location is for Model Y production but it's not here at Freemont. - Alright, so there you have it. Definitely Model Y not happening at Freemont. Production will not begin in 2019 as writers have reported from the leak, which Elon had no clue where that came from, but he did say early 2020. So, things are happening which would make sense then that this year 2018 we would see an unveiling. We would start to take reservations, because it's a two year time window kind and if you equate it to what the Model 3 was. Very interesting stuff, because and we'll talk about this a little bit more later, but the question then becomes, if you're not making it at Freemont, where are you going to make it? And so I have that clip for you, as well as some other bits about that in a second here. Okay, now an underreported piece which, when me and Gali did our interview this past Saturday we talked about it. He was in agreement that this was something that is underreported but very interesting, and it is the future of Tesla energy. So, let's go and look at that now. - [Galileo] In particular, how has this successful project in South Australia sort of changed the industry perception of what batteries can do? - [Elon Musk] Yeah, I think it's had quite a profound effect, there's south Australia took a chance on doing the world's biggest factory and it's worked out really well. If you read the articles it's worked out far beyond their expectations, because the factories there will respond at the millisecond level, far faster than any hydrocarbon plant, and so its value to civilization was actually much greater actually than even a gas turbine plant which normally responds quite fast. So, you know it's kinda like if you get a Tesla, and you have that instant acceleration, feels like you have sort of a mind meld with the car. So, it's like the car is you. And that same rapid response is true of the factory pack. So the cusp was that the utilities that I've worked with thus far, I've really loved the battery pack and I feel confident that we'll be able to announce a deal at the gigawatt hour scale within a matter of months. So, it's a thousand gigawatts. - [Galileo] What megawatt, a thousand megawatt? - So, a gigawatt scale project. And I just wanna put that in perspective here. This is some analysis I did awhile ago when I was trying to figure out what it would take for Tesla to entirely power or have the battery backup for Puerto Rico. Because Puerto Rico is still having issues as actually one of my friends just went there recently, posted a great video on it. And so I'll put a link to that as well, but just to put that in perspective, right. So, the first time they did this was in Tau, American Samoa and this was a 6 megawatt, and then in Kauai, Hawaii, which I'm hoping to get a tour of that soon. If you live in Kauai you know where it is, please message me, let me know. Also talking to Tesla, if we can get an official tour, but it would be nice. Anyways, long story short that's 52 megawatts, still, that's huge, that's big. Now, the south Australia one, largest one ever in the world, 129 megawatts. What we're talking about is a gigawatt, which is 1,000. So, a ten x over the south Australia one. Now, if they're doing this, I imagine it would be in Puerto Rico, that's just my guess. Now this was a question from Adam Jonas who is a great analyst that I do respect immensely. And you can hear Elon kind of talk about it. So, let's jump in now to this question about SpaceX internet and Tesla cars. - [Galileo] Okay, my follow up Elon is your cars produce certainly a large amount of data and SpaceX gets into the satellite broadband business next year, some-- - [Elon Musk] Well, - [Galileo] Yeah - [Elon Musk] Yeah, (laughter) - [Galileo] Okay, talk to me.
- [Elon Musk] Not next year, but it's probably like three years. - [Galileo] Okay three years, thank you for that. Some argue that SpaceX could offer Tesla a resilient cyber-secure pipe for this precious vehicle data, and a potential competitive advantage, so Elon, isn't bandwidth and obvious domain for collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX one day? - [Elon Musk] I mean it might be, there's still some interesting things we could do. Cars got a lot of computing power, and it's connected to cell networks and wifi and everything. We could still be connected to a leo internet constellation. - [Galileo] I haven't thought about it but probably there is. - So, there you have it, there probably is, it would make a lot of sense, here's the logo I believe that I found on Teslerati from Starlink and they promise greater than gigabit speeds, I do have a video on it if you guys wanna go check that out, I think I called it like internet from space, crazy, so many things. And even folks I know that were a part of this program years ago have even said that at that moment when they actually turned that on, that Elon will become the richest man in the world by far. He'll basically own worldwide internet capabilities that exceed any local providers, I mean this is gonna be a devastating blow to people like the Comcast and Cox communications of the world. So, super interesting what's gonna happen here. I think this is probably, you know one of the bigger, bigger things that people don't talk about that much but I think is super fascinating, because they can provide gigabit internet speeds and that's what they claim, there's charts and graphs and Gwenyth, I forget her name, the president of this program at SpaceX, but she might just be the president of SpaceX, talked about this recently in an interview, fascinating stuff, definitely go check it out because I love competition in the market. I think things like internet access should be available worldwide and open and free and all that stuff so, very, very interesting. Okay, next there was something about the Model Y, and this many of us speculate, will be unveiled this year, potentially they'll take reservations, could raise another couple billion dollars in capital very quickly. Super interesting, whether or not this is gonna happen, and Elon responding to Galileo Russell, from HyperChange TV, had this to say. - [Galileo] Recently got a report from Reuters saying that Model Y production would start in November 2019 at Freemont, and so I'm just kinda curious with the semi and the Model Y launching next year like where are you actually planning on assembling these vehicles? - [Elon Musk] The Reuters report is based on nothing. Like I don't know where that came from. We will not be starting Model Y at the end of next year. I would say it's probably closer to 24 months from now, so 2020 is more likely a prospect for Model Y, 2020. And the approximate location for Model Y has not been decided. We're really crowded here at Freemont. I don't know where we'd put the Model Y production. Top Products presents, our pick for the top 5 Poker Tables. There are any numbers of travel insurances and you can choose any one of them according to your needs, and the beauty of the travel insurances is that you may run out of your money while in a trip overseas, but still you can cover the costs of the medical treatment you have received across the country. You can be rest assured while you travel even beyond the boundary of your country provided you have the proper travel insurance in your name.
One of the most important types of travel insurances is the trip cancellation or interruption. In this kind of trip cancellation insurance you will be having the privilege of getting back your money which you have invested on the non refundable financial losses which you will be encountering in the event of the trip or the tour being cancelled or interrupted or even in the case of any delay in the program. One of the biggest benefits of travel insurance is that you will be having the right to seek your money if your tour happens to be cancelled under any circumstances. Let us suppose that your trip happens to be cancelled, for your spouse get to break his or her leg then you can stop your trip abruptly as you wish without fearing the loss of money that you would incur which has been spent on arranging the trip including the tickets for transportation. All these are possible if you have the right travel insurance cover for your name. There is also this evacuation insurance which is considered somewhat important and also next to the travel cancellation and interruption insurance. This will come in handy when you come under some medical scrutiny and when you have to travel quite a distance to receive some medical attention to keep your health. The evacuation insurance will give you the privilege of being covered by the insurance company and they will cough up the required money at such instances. Hence it is recommended that you get this evacuation insurance and particularly senior citizens are encouraged to do so. You should deeply consider the fact that there are some exceptions in which case you may not get these covers as you would do normally. If you indulge in some dangerous activities just like skydiving or even skiing then you are very much liable to your own costs. There are lots and lots of benefits of travel insurance and one thing which you should bear in mind is that even though you have an insurance on literally everything it is your duty to keep yourself and your belongings safe and also see that you are on time for your travel so that you avoid the danger of missing the flight. These are some smaller things but they mean a lot at the end of the day. Do not fear burning a hole in the pocket while insuring anything, it is the best form of investing your money, after all you are investing on your health which is really a good thing. The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
Publisher: Greenwillow Books Release date: September 20, 2011 Pages: 424 When Elisa was born, the heavens opened up and implanted a jewel into her navel. This jewel, called the Godstone, marks Elisa as a Bearer—one destined to do greatness for God and humanity. When Elisa turns sixteen, she has yet to do anything remarkable, so her father is marrying her off to a king of another land. Almost immediately after journeying to her new home, Elisa is kidnapped by people who believe her destiny is to save them. The Girl of Fire and Thorns published last September, and though I had heard great things, I never got the chance to read it. If you like me, then here are my essay on this book.. Reasons why you shouldn’t pass this one by: The religious aspect. I’m fascinated by religion, and even more so by religion in fiction. Rae Carson does such a great job of creating hers—the mythology is rock solid, and it’s clear that religion is a driving force in the world The Girl of Fire and Thorns is set in. Rae Carson uses religion to help develop the setting and characters in the best ways. Elisa. Elisa, the protagonist, is initially a bit too self-deprecating, but eventually, I warmed to her. By the second half of the book, I was beginning to become really impressed by her strategically-oriented mind. It’s impossible to pinpoint the exact moment of Elisa’s shift, which speaks to Rae Carson’s talent: the character grows slowly over time, rather than instantaneously. The other characters. I found myself becoming attached to almost all the minor characters in The Girl of Fire and Thorns even those whose intentions might not be wholly good. Despite not being in the spotlight, the minor characters come alive to help the story move along (and sometimes break our hearts). The writing. The last thing I’d like to highlight is Rae Carson’s writing style. It’s perfect for the kind of book she’s writing: descriptive, eloquent, and moderately paced. Fantasy fans, this one’s for you. If you like political intrigue, long, treacherous journeys through the desert, and fierce princesses, then The Girl of Fire and Thorns will be right up your alley. 4.5/5 stars I hope you have found this article interesting.
